Morline Wilson

We are very pleased to announce that Morline Wilson has been selected as the 2018/2019 Oakland County Distinguished Support Service Person of the Year!

If you know Morline or have worked with her, you know that she is truly deserving of this award. Morline goes "above and beyond" in everything she does as our Detention/In-school Suspension Supervisor at Page Middle School. We all benefit from her hard work, dedication and all of her many talents. Please read a few of the staff comments (below) that were included in Morline’s nomination application, they truly say it best!

… Mrs. Wilson has had a tremendously positive impact on our school’s atmosphere. Dealing with our student during some of their most challenging times, Mrs. Wilson has become a positive mentor to her charges. As a staff, we have seen improvement in both student behavior and academic performance as she holds our learners to a high standard both academically and behaviorally. She listens to their situations, helps to empower them with skills necessary to make better choices – in school and in life – and to help them set goals in order to succeed. - Colleen Harm, Administrative Assistant, John Page Middle School

…Morline speaks to students about their challenges and successes, with kindness and caring. She is able to get students to open up and get to the root of issues. Often uncovering trigger points. It is important to many students to make Mrs. Wilson proud. – Amy Schelesky, Page Middle School Counselor

… Even though Mrs. Wilson has one of the toughest positions at our school, the students here at John Page Middle School love and respect her. This, in my opinion, show what a truly remarkable person Mrs. Wilson is. We are truly blessed to have her as part of our staff. – Michelle DelGreco, 6th & 8th Grade Math Teacher, John Page Middle School
